On Thursday, the 24th before we motored over to the marina, we watched the yacht club’s sailing school kids from our anchorage. It was great to hear their giggles and sometimes frustrated comments. Here is a photo of the Alexander Graham Bell museum across from the anchorage.
Very nice people at the marina. We got our slip, washed the salt off the boat, filled the water tanks, and plugged in to charge the batteries. Of course, the wifi is an added bonus. Snapped these photos of fog rolling in on the mountains in the early evening. We spent the rest of the evening uploading pictures and adding them into the website.
Friday the 25th, today, is overcast and we have had periods of rain. Our youngest grandchild is 1 today and Amber Facetimed us early this morning. Happy Birthday to Elle. Sorry we won’t be celebrating with her. We were hoping that Scot, Jody and Margie would be coming for the weekend but it is a long drive for one night. We are very thankful for technology that allows us to keep as close as possible to the kids and grandkids.
We were out and about this afternoon and got a few shots of the village and had a great lobster supper. Even got another Facetime in with Elle enjoying her smash cake and opening her gifts.

Yes Nancy, we just saw the Allan’s here in Baddeck and they were telling us that they were on their way here. We will keep an eye for them. Seems we missed you by a week or so when you were on PEI. Not sure if we will get to see you in NS or not. Hi to Paul and enjoy the rest of your trip.
