Windy all night and still windy this morning. After breakfast and showering at the club, we decided to head out. bound either for Charlottetown or towards NS.
We pushed off the dock at 0900 and it was a wild ride for a while. Winds were on the beam and strong out of the SW up to 20 kn. Then when we turned they were on our beam. It was not pleasant!
And man, it seems you see the Confederation Bridge for hours. It reminded us of the Ivy Lea bridge back home.
The winds settled down around 13:30 and the water was like glass. At this point we decided we would make Charlottetown our days destination.
We rolled out the jib and sailed under the Confederation Bridge.
Charolettetown Victoria Park
View from our anchorage.
Motored by Charlottetown water front. Arthur had caused so much damage to the yacht club. We putted about looking for anchorage. We anchored across form Victoria Park at 17:30. Later we called the two marinas and the yacht club but could not get in anywhere, again on account of Arthur.
Today we travelled 49.5 nm
